Why can't you grind to make the bosses easier? What kind of system is in place to remove that ability?

This is what I can tell:

Your stats (other than HP) only go up by a very small amount when you level up. Also, according to people who are trying to grind, your level gets capped depending on where you are in the game.

Burnout is awesome. Have you tried all the different modes? Isn't the racing what you least liked about the past ones anyways?

Yeah, I'm totally happy with Burnout, too. And I HATED the last one with a passion. It took me a while to figure out stunt mode in this one (as in, how to do stunts), but even outside of that it's a great game.

I love the fact that there is no front-end/in-game to load in or out of. The game is just THERE, all the time.

Also: the races in Burnout are really gay (as in SUPER HARD unless you know ALL THE SHORT CUTS or HAVE A MEGA AWESOME CAR). Try the road rage or survival modes. It's not fair to judge this game from the race mode alone.

It's more like: When I get a new Burnout it's because I want a racing game :(

I guess I'll try the road rages since those were always pretty fun, but I miss all the fun stuff that was in the last game, and they haven't done a good job of showing me the new fun stuff from this game in either the demo or my first 30 minutes playing the final release.

How's Lost Odyssey holding up? I'm on the verge of gathering my quarters together to pick it up.

It's actually been pretty incredible. I mean, I'm treating it like this: this game feels like an alternate dimension Final Fantasy VIII. The writing is holding up really well and the characters have finally grown on me. I feel like this is an RPG I could play through, and the menus are nice and fast so the battles feel more responsive than Blue Dragon. There are load times, sure, but you're usually listening to the WONDERFUL MUSIC (seriously good music) (some of it is really good).
